Macomb County Mother and daughter sue over hidden cameras in tanning salon

Ven Johnson Law filed a lawsuit on behalf of two clients who were unknowingly video recorded while at a Chili Pepper's Tanning Salon in Shelby Township. A 38-year old man, posing as a customer, installed hidden cameras in the tanning salon. Another customer, an off-duty officer, discovered a hole in the wall and then a camera. A police investigation later revealed a total of three cameras. Shortly thereafter, Chili Peppers Tanning Salon fired a manager.
