Associate Personal Injury Attorney
Ven Johnson Law is seeking an experienced Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join our team of fighters. This role involves managing complex personal injury cases through all phases of litigation while providing exceptional client service and advocacy.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Michigan State Bar license
- 5+ years of litigation experience with a preferred focus in personal injury
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and trial litigation
- Strong work ethic and excellent writing skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation, including strategy development and trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies
- Negotiate settlements and advise clients on optimal outcomes
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management
Compensation: Based on experience and performance; negotiable during the hiring process.

Legal Assistant
Ven Johnson Law is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide critical administrative and litigation support while delivering exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent education/experience
- 5+ years of legal assistant or paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury case management and litigation support
- Prepare and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Coordinate discovery processes, including document production and medical records requests
- Schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings
- Maintain case management systems and ensure accurate file documentation
- Support trial preparation activities as needed
