Johnson Law Attends AAJ, 2/7/2014
On Friday, February 7, 2014 eight attorneys and four paralegals from Johnson Law traveled to New Orleans for the midyear meeting of American Association of Justice (AAJ). As members of AAJ, the entire group was proud to attend. Especially considering that Johnson Law is a member of the elite Leaders Forum, a group is made up only the highest caliber of plaintiff firms. Even more exciting considering that Johnson Law has managed to achieve this rank in less than three years.
The meeting was held at the Sheraton New Orleans in the heart of the Big Easy – just steps away from Bourbon Street. AAJ hosted over 50 seminars over four days along with 75 breakout/special litigation sessions. The attorneys and paralegals of Johnson Law spent four days exchanging ideas with the brightest and best attorneys and paralegals across the country.
Johnson Law was prominent everywhere from the seminar handbook to various breakout sessions. Attorneys from across the country approached Ven Johnson to discuss various cases and verdicts from our firm. In addition, at the initial session of the Police Misconduct litigation section Ven was elected to the executive board. This high honor and continues to exemplify his leadership and tenacity when it comes to police misconduct cases.
The intensive training was balanced with quite a few good meals and some team bonding. We’re happy to report that everyone returned home to Michigan reinvigorated – and ready to fight for clients in the Motor City.
A statement was released on Friday expressing condolences to the families of both men.
