Biography

Michael Freifeld is a senior trial attorney at Ven Johnson Law, where he represents individuals in employment and civil litigation. With more than 25 years of experience, he focuses on plaintiff-side employment law, advocating for workers whose rights have been violated.

Michael handles cases involving workplace misconduct, discrimination and other employment-related claims, often in matters where individuals are up against employers and institutions. His practice is centered on holding employers accountable and pursuing outcomes for clients facing serious professional and personal consequences.

Michael has represented clients in United States District Courts across Michigan and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, Michael earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his Juris Doctor from Detroit College of Law.

Outside of the office, Michael volunteers with the Genesee Humane Society and is the proud father of two daughters.
