KANWARPREET (KEN) S. KHAHRA

Kanwarpreet "Ken" S. Khahra is a senior trial attorney at Ven Johnson Law, where he represents individuals and families in complex litigation involving medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability and automobile negligence.

Ken focuses his practice on cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, often in matters where liability is heavily contested and the stakes are significant. He has handled cases in state and federal courts throughout Michigan and has been involved in high-profile litigation, including matters related to the Oxford High School shooting and product liability claims involving fatal vehicle defects.

His experience also includes complex construction and industrial cases, including litigation arising from a blast furnace failure that resulted in multiple serious injuries.

Before joining Ven Johnson Law, Ken was a litigation attorney at Morgan & Meyers PLC, where he handled medical malpractice, product liability and personal injury matters. Earlier in his career, he defended medical malpractice and birth trauma cases at Kitch Drutchas Wagner Valitutti & Sherbrook, P.C., and his experience on the defense side that now sharpens his instincts and strategy as a plaintiff’s attorney.

Ken earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he served on Law Review and received multiple certificates of merit.

Ken is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing sports.
