Biography
Jody Aaron is an attorney and counselor at Ven Johnson Law, where she represents individuals and families in complex personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. A seasoned trial lawyer with decades of experience, Jody is committed to protecting the rights of those harmed by negligence and ensuring they have a voice when facing powerful institutions.
Before entering the legal profession, Jody worked as a special education teacher, an experience that continues to shape her approach to advocacy. Recognizing her passion for teaching and communication could make an even greater impact in the courtroom, she attended law school and discovered her calling representing plaintiffs. She began her legal career clerking with Charfoos & Christensen, where she developed a deep appreciation for the role trial lawyers play in protecting the civil justice system and advocating for individuals and families navigating unimaginable circumstances.
Throughout her career, Jody has concentrated her practice on medical malpractice and catastrophic injury litigation, helping clients secure accountability and the resources they need to rebuild their lives. She has a particular passion for birth trauma cases, where successful outcomes can provide lifelong care and improve a child’s quality of life.
Outside of the office, Jody enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing and birdwatching at her cottage in northern Michigan, and pursuing wildlife photography.
